For the Banner, you will need:

  • Printed Letters
  • Paper cutter
  • Ribbon or String (if threading banner)
  • Hole Punch (if threading banner)
  • Tape (painter’s tape if taping directly to wall)
  • Fishing Line, clear string, or thin string (if hanging in front of backdrop)

Assembly of Hanging Banner with Ribbon:

1. Cut out the images with a paper cutter.

2. Make two holes with a hole punch for each letter. The first hole should be 1/2″ from the top and 1/2″ from the left side, and the second hole should be 1/2″ from the top and 1/2″ from the right side.

3. Organize your letters in order.

4. Thread the ribbon or string through the holes of each letter in your banner. The ribbon should go in the front left hole and out the hole on the right. See below. Make sure you have enough string at each end of the rows to hang.

5. Tape the ribbon to the back of each letter to prevent it from moving.

6. Hang the art banner.

Taping Directly to Wall:

1. Cut out the images with a paper cutter.

2. Using painter’s tape, tape the back of each letter to the wall to make your banner.

Hanging Individually in front of Backdrop:

1. Cut out the images with a paper cutter.

2. Tape two pieces of fishing line to the back of each letter as shown below.

3. Tie the other end of the fishing line to a curtain rod or pole above. You could also tape the fishing line to the wall above using Painter’s tape. Make sure each image is level.

4. Cover the pole or fishing line taped to the wall with balloons. You could individually tape the balloons or do a balloon garland. Balloon Garland Strips can be found at the Dollar Store or Amazon. They are easy to use and look great. I have done it both ways.
