From before I can remember, parties have always been a big deal in my family. I am one of seven kids. Yes, you read that correctly….7! Growing up in a large family meant your birthday was the one day that was all about you. Our birthdays were the best. Every year, my friends made sure they were invited to my party because we had dress-up races, candy tosses, cupcake decorating, and creative cakes made by my mom. This is before the era of Pinterest or Google searches. Yes, before the internet…I am dating myself here. LOL. I still remember how I felt each and every birthday….Special!

When I became a mama over ten years ago, I wanted to give my kiddies that same feeling I had growing up. So, I started making their cakes and themed parties from the beginning and haven’t stopped. I absolutely love it! I have designed my kid’s invitations, games and activities, decorations, personalized loot bags and made their cakes or cupcakes. Looking back at all these parties, I feel a sense of pride. However, the most important thing to me is that my kids feel Special! I do this all for them.

My daughter wanted the Elsa Doll Cake for her 4th birthday, and my son wanted Thomas the Tank Engine Cake for his 3rd birthday. They were both so excited to see their cakes and were in awe of them. I still remember these parties as if they were yesterday.
